Deep Blanket Bog is meant to be protected by the EU but EU citizens are being asked more and more to put their hands in their pocket to pay for legislation which is being ignored by many companies. What is the point of asking taxpayers to pay time and time again to fund any organisation that fails to protect? The legislation appears to be ineffective, especially if it is not being properly enforced. Doesn't this sort of thing make the whole concept of protecting special areas an absoulte mockery?
